Trainer From Newmarket Seeks Riches in Saudi Arabia

The Warren Hill training grounds at Cadland Cottage Stables is where Haynes calls her home and is where much of her daily activities take place. It is these training grounds where Haynes devotes her time to horses, ensuring that they are as fit and as fast as possible. It is the hope of many trainers that their hard work will eventually pay off when it comes time to race, and it is no different with Haynes. This winter, she plans to enter two races at the Dubai Carnival with Mr Professor, a progressive juvenile horse. It is not like Mr Professor is not expected to put in a performance either, considering the fact that the horse landed a win for the stable in the Listed Silver Tankard Stakes last month.
Ever since Mr Professor joined Haynes in the summer, the horse owned by Amo Racing has managed to win three out of five starts, raising Mr Professor’s BHA rating from 31lb to 100lb. One of these wins included the aforementioned victory in the Listed Silver Tankard Stakes, which took place in Pontefract. In this race, he overcame all expectations and beat the favourite Westover. However, Mr Professor failed to make his allocated reserve price at last month’s Tattersalls Horses in Training sale, subsequently returning to Haynes.
Haynes seems optimistic regarding the coming events in Dubai this winter, saying, “Mr Professor is in good shape and the plan is to take him out to Dubai in the coming weeks. He should be suited by the turning track at Meydan”. Since getting her license, Haynes has had 17 winning horses, despite only aiming for 10. This is an incredible achievement, and she will be looking to continue this form when she arrives in Dubai, and possibly Saudi Arabia too.
Haynes will be hoping to record more victories this winter alongside the assistance of Mr Professor, who certainly seems up to the task too!
