Sun Chariot Day at Newmarket Racecourses is an excellent afternoon of quality horseracing. Named after Sun Chariot, King George VI’s Fillies’ Triple Crown winner of 1942, the race is in its 19th year of top level status and some classy fillies and mares have made their name here in that time.
